Nick, Craig and the Team have recently completed multiple jobs for us including banister replacements, new internal doors, building out an existing cupboard and understairs storage racks. We chose Leading Edge because of their ‘can do’ attitude from the off. To be honest we increased the scope of our planned works at that first meeting because every question we asked got the answer, “sure, we can do that”. Not all the people we had round to quote can say that! What really sealed the deal was the fact that the installed works came finished, by that I mean the doors were sprayed with hard wearing paint, the oak banisters were lacquered. Everything Leading Edge installed requires no further works. We spoke with 3 other carpentry firms who all advised getting a decorator in to finish these items soon after they finished to avoid them being damaged. Great, so I’d need to line up another set of people to quote then… pass! Everything is made to measure and beautifully finished. Each night the house was left tidy. The team did a proper days work (no disappearing off to the merchants for 4 hours during the day!) and took away all the rubbish. Currently thinking of more work for them to do for us….
I had Craig out to replace my stair banister and what an amazing job he did. While we waited for the glass to be made Craig blocked off the holes so no one or dogs could fall through. Once the glass was ready Craig come back and fitted and I’m so pleased I decided to have it done. I definitely recommend Criag too anyone and I will definitely get him if I need anything else done.
We recently had our stairs renovated and under stairs storage built, both quoted together and completed back to back by Leading Edge joinery. We went from a very outdated and bulky white stair banister/railing to a modern oak railing with black spindle design. It looks amazing and the workmanship is exceptional. The under stairs storage is perfect and exactly what we had envisioned. We were a bit indecisive of the finish to go with but following Nick’s opinion, we came to a decision and it looks better than we pictured. Nick was very flexible around myself and my Partner’s busy schedule and just got on with the job around us being in and out of the house. All the work/any dust or debris was cleaned up daily and the communication was polite and friendly right from the enquiry. Highly recommend and I personally won’t hesitate to use for any future plans/works.

We’ve used Leading Edge Joinery couple of times now for a new stair case and kitchen. We’ve been very impressed on both occasions in terms of their communication and workmanship - we would thoroughly recommend.
I work with joiners all the time in my job but getting something done for yourself can be quite different. Initially I only needed a staircase fitted but after seeing how well Leading Edge Joinery worked I was keen to invite them back. Superb work! Excellent time keeping, planning and communication. +3 weeks work and cleaned up every day so it was safe for my children each night. After the staircase they returned to build a pergola, understairs shelving, understairs draws and cabinetry, radiator and side shoe rack / bench. All bespoke to my designs. They advised best ways to tweak and achieve the best & highest quality product within a sensible budget. More than fair with pricing, honest and open. Superb knowledge of their trade. I would highly recommend Leading Edge to anyone. (Photos aren't as good as the real thing- NB. radiator to be competed later this week with a fine mesh backing to hide the radiator, we requested the pine shelving and staircase to be left unfinished for us to stain and decorate ourselves)
Thanks to Nick and Alex for some absolutely fantastic work at our house over the past couple of months including a wall to ceiling unit, a bespoke desk, storage and some detailing and mirrors in my husband’s home gym. When Nick came to quote, I gave him what was probably quite a vague idea of what I wanted and he turned that into spot on diagrams that really captured what I was looking for. Throughout their time on site Nick and Alex were polite, friendly, super clean and tidy, they were a pleasure to have around. Nick is a perfectionist and this is evident in the quality of his work. He made some really on point design suggestions. He really went the extra mile to complete the work to a high standard. Would definitely recommend. Thanks so much Nick and Alex!
Thank you so much for an AMAZING job on our new oak staircase and internal doors. You guys are just the best! Still can't believe how quickly you transformed our house! Craig came and replaced the window cills in our conservatory and did a cracking job. The match is excellent to the point that it really doesn't look as if it has been done! Would definitely recommend and will use again if there is a need.

Leading edge joinery made us a bespoke bookcase over an entire wall with a desk in our lounge. It was beautiful, perfect and everyone comments on how great it looks! They also fitted our wooden floor in our lounge. They were professional, on time, courteous and above all very competent. Will definitely use them again and would recommend to anyone! Thanks again!.
Highly recommend Leading Edge Joinery. I had my kitchen fitted by Craig and he did a fantastic job. Had issues with the kitchen supplier I choose and Craig went out of his way to rectify the problems they caused me. Kitchen looks stunning so very pleased.
We would highly recommend LEJ. They are professional and take great care with their work. Amazing attention to detail and happy to take the time to get the design right, making minor adjustments along the way to make sure it’s exactly what we want. They have laid flooring and built wardrobes, drawer units and a window seat. All look fantastic. Plus they’re really friendly and courteous.

I was desperate to have more storage in my room and wanted something to fit in the alcoves whilst also matching another wardrobe I have on the opposite wall. Nick and Craig done such an amazing job and was so helpful with ideas on what would look best. Great at time keeping and also keeping the work area tidy. Would highly recommend.
Brilliant work done by Craig and Nick! We definitely recommend them and planning to book them for the next project. Very kind and professional guys - happy to help with the last minute changes in the project. They massively helped us with flexibility on dates and projects in a very messy house as we just moved in.
Leading Edge Joinery are a small company who take pride in the work they carry out. In my case the project was a built in wardrobe with cupboards finished in oak. The work took three days to complete and the end result was very pleasing. Time keeping was excellent, they worked hard throughout were tidy and are great guys. I thoroughly recommend Leading Edge Joinery for the type of work I had carried out.

Myself and all the Team here at Noahs-Place would like to thank Leading Edge Joinery Company and a special thanks to Nick and Craig for there work ethic in fitting our kitchen, I’ve got to say fast, clean and tidy and very conscientious about their work. We had some friends close by Craig and Ellie who recommended Leading Edge Joinery as they had had them fit an oak staircase and some other works done for them. I contacted them and Nick initially come out and supplied us with an estimate for the work along with a time frame, for us this was very important as we work with adults with special support needs and had to close this area down for health and safety reasons As the pictures show we now have a fully fitted full functioning two Kitchen for our adults with special support needs to do life skills in cookery along with budgeting the extra bonus is we also gained an area where we now do craft work as well, we could not be happier Whether or not I should mention this but the owners Nick and Craig landed up donating their time to our charity this has been a massive help to us here at Noahs-place and we would recommend these guys without a second thought Regards Keith
